Meet the Team
Darren founded West Coast Images, LLC in 2020 after spending over 20 years in radio and TV broadcasting. He has directed live TV News, entertainment and professional sporting events in southern California and worked on several nationally syndicated radio and TV programs. Working in both an on-air capacity as a radio morning show host, and in the roles of producing and directing, Darren has a keen understanding of the media business and is adapt at multi-tasking and meeting tight deadlines.
In parallel with his broadcasting career, Darren spent many years working as a commercial photographer providing advertising and marketing photography services to architects, designers, and large corporations. Darren is an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot.
In his free time, Darren enjoys golf, camping and spending time with his wife and four young children.
Tim has called southern Oregon his home for over 50 years. He has been an entrepreneur for much of that time, building small businesses for himself and others. Tim has a passion for the real estate industry and an eye for detail that has allowed him to quickly excel in the world of real estate photography. Tim is also an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot.
He and his wife Brenda are homesteading a small farm with a number of their kids in Sutherlin. Blessed with a Brady Bunch of their own, their nine kids have already given them 14 grandkids…most of whom also live in the Land of Umpqua.
Louis has been with West Coat Images from the very beginning. With an education in graphic design and nearly a decade of experience editing real estate photography, he is truly a master of the art and among some of the most highly skilled people with Photoshop. His love for his craft combined with his dedication and work ethic play an integral role in our commitment and ability to provide remarkably fast turnaround times. Louis works remotely from his home in the beautiful city of Hanoi, Vietnam.
In his free time, he enjoys time with his wife and young daughter, competitive sports, traveling, and studying various architectural styles from around the world.
Brian has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry ranging from directing sound and video for live concerts, television broadcasting, and editing feature films. He has edited over 15,000 nationally televised TV commercials along with editing entire television series programs. Brian and West Coast Images owner, Darren Penquite have known each other for more than 20 years. They met while working together at KOBI-TV in the early 2000’s.
Starting from the bottom, Brian has learned all aspects of media production prior to becoming a seasoned veteran in the video editing community. He has been mentored by world renowned editors from Warner Brothers, Tyler Perry Studios and Stampede Post. Additionally, Brian hosts his own Youtube channel, “The Mumbling Editor” where he shares his knowledge and passion for video editing.
